As Vice President of Marketing & Business Development for SkyFiber, Inc., Christina Richards develops and drives all aspects of the SKYFIBER Global Marketing Strategy, including messaging, media, sales readiness, events, and competitive positioning. Additionally, she drives creation and development of SkyFiber business opportunities both in the US and internationally. Ms. Richards has over 16 years of diverse Telecom industry experience including Product Marketing, Business Operations, and R&D Software Development & Verification.



Prior to SKYFIBER, Ms. Richards was the Product Marketing Leader for WiMAX-BSS at Nortel Networks. Previous roles also included serving as the Business Operations Leader for the President of Carrier Networks, where she drove execution of business strategy for a $6B division. During her time in R&D Engineering Ms. Richards led several international teams as a leader in Nortel’s GSM/UMTS Wireless Division, and drove substantial efficiency improvements through innovative software automation methodologies.

 Ms. Richards earned her B.S. Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, and her MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Ms. Richards volunteers with several local organizations, including the United Way's HERO Mentor program, and the Contact Crisis Center, which provides direct support for members of the community in immediate crisis.
